Psoriasis is a non-contagious disease condition so heredity plays an important role in the development of the skin condition. If anyone of the parents has the condition, the possibility of a child getting psoriasis is high
Few other causes for psoriasis include:
- Consumption of conflicting foods (for example consuming fish and milk together) – The consumption of conflicting food together can imbalance the equilibrium of the body. That is the reason for Ayurveda advising against the consumption of those together.
- Medication that causes skin irritation – Some medicines can be allergic to some persons. It can lead to side effects such as skin irritation. This leads to Psoriasis. Ayurvedic treatment for Psoriasis will analyze the depth of the side effect before prescribing the medicines.
- Excess smoking and alcohol consumption – The toxins that enter the body through excessive smoking and alcohol consumption can destroy the equilibrium of the body. As the body is incapable of expelling the toxins, it can cause Psoriasis.
- Mental stress – Extreme mental stress is the most common problem faced by humans around the world. The competition, the confusion about the job, concerns about the future, etc., increase tension and stress in our body. The body will react to the stress in its own way, which may result in Psoriasis.
