Type – 2 Diabetes is a metabolic disease characterized by elevated levels of blood glucose (or blood sugar), which over time leads to serious damage to the pancreas. The most common is type 2 diabetes which occurs when the body becomes resistant to insulin or doesn’t make enough insulin. In the past three decades, the prevalence of type 2 diabetes has risen dramatically.


Diabetes is a disease caused by putting undue pressure on the pancreas to produce excess insulin. In other words, high blood sugar is only an effect, but not the root cause. After eating carbohydrates, it is broken down into sugar, triggering the pancreas to produce insulin, which is then stored in the liver and muscles. However, there is a limit to the amount of sugar the liver and muscles can store or process during a single meal.


  1. Excessive thirst
  2. Frequent or increased urination, especially at night
  3. Excessive hunger
  4. Fatigue
  5. Blurred vision
  6. Sores or cuts that won’t heal easily
